About MAT-ERE TECH

Hi, I'm Mat Aaron, the person writing, testing, and editing every guide you'll find on MAT-ERE TECH.

I'm a tech lover and content writer with a computer science academic background, which is where my interest in how software actually works and why it breaks started. That foundation is what pushes me to actually test a fix before writing about it, rather than just repeating what's already floating around online.

MAT-ERE TECH started because I kept running into the same pattern: searching for a fix to a Windows error, a slow browser, or a locked PDF and landing on pages that were either outdated, padded with fluff, or clearly written by someone who'd never actually run the steps themselves. I wanted to build the resource I kept wishing existed: guides that are tested, current, and to the point.

How I Work

Every tutorial on this site is written from hands-on testing; I run the steps myself before publishing, on my own devices, before writing them up. Software changes fast, so if you spot something on this site that's out of date or no longer works the way it's described, please tell me. I'd rather fix it than leave it wrong.

Most of my testing is done on Windows 11, Google Chrome, an Android phone, an iPhone, and a laptop.
